‘Trokani’ Bell is part of the ‘Senses of Skyros’ collection.
Made with black, stoneware clay, high fired at 1220° this is a piece of art to honour the folklore tradition of Skyros. “Trokani” (plural “trokania”) is a bell used during the local carnival (in Greek called “apokria”) to make joyous, loud noises to celebrate freedom and life. Both the interior and exterior of this ceramic are unglazed -with some discrete details and patterns-, to preserve all the authenticity of the form and the texture.
Both shape and colour are exclusive as each bell is separately manufactured like a piece of art meant to celebrate everyday life.
All ceramics are watertight.
