Hyle’s identity is rooted in the fundamental values of authenticity and simplicity and evolves around the conservation of culture, community and the natural environment. Fundamental branch of our essence is the active participation in raising awareness on matters around biodiversity. The Skyriano summer project initiative inspiration was triggered by the summer collection “The Skyrian”, in collaboration with Myrsini Alexandridi, that pays tribute to the gentle breed of the Skyrian horse.
The Skyrian horse (Equus Cabalus Skyriano) is one of the rarest breeds in the world with the majority of them, 260 or so being found today on the island of Skyros.
Skyriano is an summer project initiative that unites art with nature. Not in the expected norm where the former is inspired by the latter, but by contributing to raising awareness and helping a specific cause: strengthening the presence of the Skyrian horse in the local fauna. Anyone can be part of the Conservation Hub’s mission by purchasing an artwork or print that is part of this action.
